An affiliate program is a program in which a person creates traffic to a website or helps to promote sales and is paid for each referral or sale made successfully. What you need to do is find a product that is well known and that can sell easily, then join their affiliate program and start working. To be an affiliate, one needs to promote the product on sale. This can be done through affiliate videos or through blogs and article writing. One can make a video no matter how funny and post it on social sites to promote the product. Blowing refers to writing online blogs about the product; the blogs can contain links that refer users to your product site.
Profitability. Don’t pick something that’s hard to make money online blogs. “Light switches” will take years longer to make money with than “credit cards” or even “fix your credit”. Finance is almost always easy to monetize.
Web 2.0 websites are also toting a new sense of web design style! Those hues of blues and oranges, shiny reflective, yet simple buttons, and CSS driven templates, give the web new standards. Your website should definitely implement these new trends, and if they don’t OUTSOURCE a project to a programmer. Ask him to style your website with CSS 2.0! It shouldn’t be very expensive at all.
Don’t think about those days in grammar school. You don’t have to worry about a teacher sitting at the front of the class looking over her glasses at you while you are writing. Forget about turning in your elementary school papers and fearing the big red pen. You are now older and you have all the tools that you need to get started with writing online.
Review blog posts can help you monetize your blog. This is when you write a review on a product that you are selling and include your buying or affiliate link. Review blog posts should go over some of the major plusses and minuses of the product. Even if you loved it (and be careful here as you’re selling it so you’re likely to be biased), you should keep your review balanced by mentioning at least one thing that could be improved.
Just putting your blog online is not enough. After all, there are many millions of Share your story on the web right now, so unless your blog is on a high-traffic site, you may not get readers unless you advertise. You can easily advertise your blog without spending a cent by mentioning your blog in your emails and web pages or newsletters. You can also enter in online competitions – if your blog wins a prize you are more likely to get a constant flow of traffic to your blog. You can also ask ezines and other content providers to review your blog, which will also draw readers.
Okay, this is what I am talking about when it comes to bad blogging advice. What’s sad about this is that people get sucked into this crap and end up spending a bunch of money on worthless backlinks from worthless blogs.
I still hate blogging. But life is not full of doing only those things we like. Use your blog if you are serious about promoting your business. And use your blog if you want to promote yourself. Don’t expect a million hits a minute but don’t be surprised if your blog turns out to be a positive addition to your web presence. I certainly was and continue to be amazed at the results.
