Internet Blogs Friend Or Foe?

What is a blog? A blog is a combination of a personal webpage and a journal – in some cases. In other cases, it is a way to get customer feedback. Others use blogs as a personal journal. There really is no answer these days to what is a blog, simply because a blog can be many different things, with many different uses – depending on the blogger who is blogging.

When you put an effort into the direction of traffic to your personal sales page (which usually redirects your traffic to either your own product or an affiliate product) you can usually see a very good return on your initial investment. The effort as I mentioned usually requires promotion of the website (or sales page in this case) that you set up to sell your product, article marketing, promotion on social networking sites such as Facebook or Twitter, and also promoting your sales page through the use of paid traffic or classified advertisements online. This is not as hard as it sounds, but it does require some effort on your part. Remember, money doesn’t just fall into our hands from nowhere.

But there are a great many Connect with me and scraper sites out there that steal content and don’t give proper attribution. They either republish a summary of articles (sometimes linking to the source, sometimes not) or publish the full article but remove the author and bio info. Still others run the article through a rewrite software program so they can publish “unique” content on their site, even though it’s still stolen content.

As big as Blogging is now, I expect it to get even bigger. If you have a thought and can add an interesting spin on it, you should simply create a blog… who knows, you might create a great community.

Why not just get in your car instead, get up to about 60 miles an hour on the freeway, then roll down your window and through that same money out the window! In essence, this is what you’re doing when you’re buying backlinks this way.

H. Be consistent; even if it means writing one guest article monthly, do it. Consistency and concentration is a key to success in any marketing campaign; whether online or offline, so keep writing. The more you write, the more your writing skill improves and the more you strengthen your brand image.

There are so many things working for blogs that internet marketers should pay attention to. They are very beneficial, and they cannot be dismissed. It would be wise to make good use of blogs today, and experience the boost they could provide for your online business.
