Everyone is blogging from politicos to teeny boppers. Many teenagers have resorted to blogging as an outlet for their emotions, a little online nook where they can blurt out their feelings and blow off some steam. However, savvy marketers have discovered that blogging is one of the best Internet marketing strategies available. The best part is that blogging is just a cent or two more expensive than free.
Unlike e-mail that just shows up in someone mailbox, blogs must be accessed by the reader – there are, however, ways to list the blogs one wants to visit regularly.
Businesses fail, because they don’t follow a blueprint for success. Businesses also succeed, because they follow a blueprint for success. Bloggers succeed, because they follow a blueprint for success, and they also fail because they don’t follow a blueprint.
Secondly, you have to decide what your blog will be about. You have two main choices here. The first is to write about a subject you’re passionate about and generate a cult reading audience. The second is to be somewhat calculating and pick a niche subject you know would be lucrative for advertisers (e.g. the latest games console).

Also do not forget to link from your blog to some important pages of your own site containing valuable information. blogging is quite anonymous and that’s certainly the case with the feeds involved. You don’t know who’s reading your post in a feed reader. When you have links in it pointing to your site that can boost your traffic!
Maintenance Free, Spam free and Economical – With so many viruses on the run emails, ezines are filtered out with Spam filters. This is not the case with the blogs, because they are not delivered to the people. Blogs are written and published via downsized blog softwares, which are also very easy to use and maintain. What’s more, you do not have to list your blogs unlike ezines or newsletters on the server, and thereby you can save money on running and maintaining a blog.
What I had thought was the worse thing to happen turned out to be the best thing. Had Google not sandboxed me, I probably never would have discovered the awesome marketing power of blogs!
